Color: Dark blue-red
Aroma: Fresh aromas of plum and blackberry with hints of herbs, spices and oak along with notes of chocolate.
Taste: Very fresh taste, of berries, with soft tannins and oak character with notes of cherry, rosehips, sloes and herbs.
Food pairing: Goes well with appetizers, pastas, aged cheese and fried and grilled meat of pork, lamb and beef.
Production and maturation: The grapes are hand-picked and vinification is done by a combination of Both traditional and modern methods. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at 25 degrees with pumping over and délestage twice a day. The wine then undergoes maceration for 8 days, Malolactic fermentation and maturation in oak barrels for six months for a part of the wine.
